Your desktop, with a voice.

The AI voice assistant for Windows and Mac. Ask out loud from the notch of your screen. Dictate into anything. Let it finish the job in your apps — with your approval on every change.

Ask it something. No install.

Pick a request and watch the notch work — the same pill, answer and review card as the app. Or click the notch itself.

The Q4 roadmap now puts search v2 first, moves the billing migration to November, and adds a pricing page refresh owned by Priya. Two launch dates moved by a week.

A prepared example. No microphone or connected account is used.

What it does

One shortcut.
Three jobs.

Not just another dictation app. Dictation only speeds up your typing — Arkemis also answers, and it finishes the job.

Ask a question
Speaking

Design review at 2:00 PM, then a call with Maya at 4:30 PM.

Ask out loud

Open the notch and talk. The answer lands where you already are — no window to switch to, no tab to lose your place in.

Dictate anywhere

Hold the shortcut in any text field. Your words arrive cleaned up, with your names spelled the way you say them.

Re: Thursday sync

Hi Maya, Thursday works for me. See you at 10.

Let it finish

Send the reply, file the ticket, move the meeting. Every change is drawn up first, so you approve it before anything runs.

Dictation

Talk the way you talk. Choose how it lands.

Hold Ctrl+Shift in any text field, or press Ctrl+Shift+Space to go hands-free. The pill at the bottom of your screen listens, then your words land where you were typing, as spoken or cleaned up.

Send the project update to Priya before lunch.

Transcript cleanup

Clean is on by default. Clean and Refined send your transcript through an online model before it is inserted; As spoken skips that step. Change it any time in Settings → Transcript cleanup.

Context

Point anywhere on your screen.

Your cursor is the context. Arkemis sees what you are working on and answers in place — without manually copying it into another app.

  • Ask about the paragraph, email or page in front of you
  • Answers appear in the notch, over the app you are using
Summarise this paragraph

It proposes moving the launch to October and cutting two features.

Actions

Speech‑to‑text becomes voice‑to‑action.

Say it once and it happens in the right app. Reads run for your request; anything that changes something waits for your approval.

Questions

Before you ask it anything.

The short answers. The full list lives on the questions page.

Is this another dictation app?

Dictation is one of three jobs. The others are asking out loud and getting work done inside the apps you already use — the part a dictation tool cannot do.

What happens when I approve an action?

Exactly what you saw in the review card, with the arguments you saw. Edit the draft first and the edit is what runs. Cancel and nothing is sent.

Which apps can it work in?

The Google Suite, Microsoft, and the note-taking and project tools people actually use. Availability depends on the account you connect and the permissions you grant.

What does it cost?

Every account starts on the free plan with a starter allowance of 2 minutes of dictation and 5 actions every month. Pro is $29 USD per month: answers and spoken replies share one allowance, and dictation has its own, so everyday typing is never interrupted.

Does it listen on its own?

Never. Recording starts when you press the shortcut, the notch shows when it is live, and Escape stops it.
