Arkemis runs on your Mac and processes on-device by default. It reads the screen only when a task needs it, and the backend is a stateless relay.
Four steps, then a keystroke
Nothing to configure and no menu bar clutter. The only setup is the three macOS permissions Arkemis genuinely needs.
Three permissions, and what each one is for
Arkemis asks for exactly what the product needs to work and nothing beyond it.
Microphone & Speech
So it can hear you when you hold the key and speak. Audio leaves only while you are talking, and is discarded once the text comes back.
Screen Recording
So it can read the active window when a task genuinely needs to see it. Arkemis's own UI is excluded from capture.
Accessibility
For the global ⌥⇧A shortcut, for reading the structure of what is on screen, and for operating apps on your behalf.
What ships today, and what does not
macOS is the only platform that exists right now. The hatched plates below are not builds you can install — they are intentions.
