What we collect
Arkemis runs on your Mac. It reads the active window, your selection, or the screen only when a task needs it, and it never listens to your screen's audio. When you hold the key and speak, that recording is sent to our API so a speech model can transcribe it, and it is discarded once the text comes back. Nothing about your screen or your audio is stored server-side.
Where your data lives
Your local data stays on your Mac. The backend is a stateless relay: it passes only the minimum needed to complete a request — a screenshot for a screen task, an utterance for speech-to-text — and keeps nothing afterward.
Third-party services
Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payments are handled by PayPal. We share only the minimum data required for those services to work.
Your rights
You can export or delete your local data at any time from within the app. Delete your account and all associated data by emailing support.
